Tata Motors has introduced a new, powerful engine in the Tata Sierra, the Hyperion 1.5-litre turbo petrol. This engine is available only on the top trims; Adventure+, Accomplished, and Accomplished+, starting at Rs 17.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The new engine makes the Sierra faster, more powerful, and more premium than ever before.

Tata Sierra with the Hyperion 1.5L turbo petrol engine reached an impressive top speed of 222 kmph during a high-speed test at NATRAX proving track in Indore. This makes the Sierra the fastest version ever, and one of the quickest SUVs in its class. The engine is designed to offer higher power and better performanc.
The Hyperion engine is available only on the higher trims - Adventure+, Accomplished, and Accomplished+, with prices starting at Rs 17.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The base and mid-level trims will still come with the regular 1.5L petrol and diesel engines. This makes the turbo petrol Sierra a more performance-focused, premium option in Tata's SUV lineup.

The new Tata Sierra has been making waves with its bold and boxy design. It stands out on the road with its imposing stance and the unique Alpine Window. The SUV is 4,340 mm long, 1,841 mm wide, and has a 2,730 mm wheelbase, making it larger than many of its competitors. With a ground clearance of 205 mm and a huge 622-litre boot, the Sierra is built for both city driving and off-road adventures.
Inside, the Tata Sierra is loaded with modern features. It’s the first Tata SUV to come with a triple-screen setup - two 12.3-inch touchscreens and a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster. It also features advanced technology like ADAS Level 2, a JBL 12-speaker sound system, ventilated seats, and a powered driver seat with memory. The Sierra also has a PanoraMax panoramic sunroof, flush door handles, and 19-inch alloy wheels, making it a truly premium SUV.

Tata Sierra offers a variety of engine options to suit different preferences. In addition to the new Hyperion 1.5L turbo petrol engine, the Sierra is available with a 1.5L NA petrol engine, a standard 1.5L turbo petrol engine, and a 1.5L turbo diesel engine. Depending on the variant and engine choice, you can opt for either a manual or automatic transmission. The Sierra is built on Tata's ARGOS platform, which has the capability to support both AWD and CNG options in the future.
