Riding high on customer demand and sentiments, Tata Motors launched the highly anticipated Punch.ev. Its introductory price starts from Rs 10.99 lakh and goes all the way up to Rs 14.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Underpinned by the Acti.ev platform, the electric vehicle offers two battery pack options: 25 kWh and 35 kWh. The 25 kWh variant boasts a claimed range of 315 km, while the larger 35 kWh unit extends the range to an impressive 421 km.
Performance-wise, the 25 kWh battery pack delivers a maximum power output of 80 bhp with 114 Nm of peak torque. While the bigger 35k Wh variant produces 120 bhp and 190 Nm of torque. The vehicle comes equipped with a standard 3.3 kW AC wall mount box charger. There is also an optional 7.2 kW AC charger available at an extra cost of Rs. 50,000. Further, charging from 10 to 80 percent can be accomplished in approximately 56 minutes using a 50 kW DC fast charger.

Notably, the Punch.ev stands out as the first electric car from Tata Motors to feature a front-mounted charging solution. Located below the brand logo, this innovative design enhances convenience and accessibility for charging the electric mini SUV. The homegrown automaker has introduced the Punch in 5 distinct variants. These include Smart, Smart+ Adventure, Empowered, and Empowered+.
