Tata Motors is raising our excitement with its updated Tata Safari and Harrier models. Both SUVs can be launched anytime during this month. With the updated version, Tata Safari facelift has introduced some notable changes to styling, features, and colour options. Recently, we talked about the top 5 things to know about Tata Harrier facelift. Now, let's talk about the updated features introduced in Tata Safari facelift.

Tata Cars has heavily reworked the front and rear profile of the facelifted Safari. Upfront, the SUV flaunts its new grille and the connected LED DRL strip going across the width of the bonnet. The split LED headlamps also sport a vertical setup, similar to the Nexon SUV.
Moving to the side, the front doors reflect a Safari badging in a fancy font and the SUV runs on 19-inch alloy wheels. Overall, the side profile looks quite neater than before. Talking about its rear side, the SUV highlights a new design with a revamped bumper, a connected tail lamp setup, and a more prominent skid plate. The LED DRL and the taillamps get a dynamic welcome and goodbye animation.

Some significant design changes can also be seen inside the SUV. The cabin now sports a new layered dashboard in a dual-tone touch with a curvy bottom. The colour scheme of the interior also varies based on the exterior paint or variant you choose to buy. Besides that, the SUV gets a new 4-spoke steering wheel with a backlit brand's logo and an updated central console.

The new screen setup is the major feature addition to the updated Safari. The SUV now comes equipped with a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Besides, there is a 10.25-inch digital driver's display, same as the new Nexon and Nexon EV.
In terms of comfort and convenience features, the 2023 Safari facelift provides dual-zone climate control with a touch-based AC panel. Besides, there are power adjustable and ventilated front seats while the six-seater variant also gets ventilated second row.
Tata Motors has not made any changes to the powertrain option. The Safari facelift continues to carry a 2.0-litre turbodiesel motor which can easily churn out 170 bhp of maximum power and 350 Nm of peak torque. Transmission duties are handled by a 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
The 2023 Tata Safari comes in seven different colour options. Out of these, three colour options are totally new which include Lunar Slate, Supernova Copper, and Cosmic Gold. In fact, the cabin also gets different themes based on the exterior paint including a Black and Tan Brown Cabin, a Black and Beige cabin, and a Black and Grey Cabin.
With the updated version, the new Tata Safari is likely to be priced from Rs 16 lakh (ex-showroom) and will rival the MG Hector Plus, Hyundai Alcazar, and Mahindra XUV700.
