Nissan Gravite, Mercedes V-Class and VinFast Limo Green launching soon. New MPVs to offer petrol, diesel and electric options. Family-focused and luxury three-row models arriving in weeks.
The Indian car market is getting ready for three new MPVs in the coming weeks. Even though SUVs continue to dominate sales charts, MPVs remain popular for their space, comfort and practicality. Models like the Maruti Ertiga and Toyota Innova Crysta have shown that family buyers still prefer three-row vehicles. Now, Nissan, Mercedes-Benz and VinFast are preparing to launch their new MPVs in India.
Here is a closer look at the 3 MPVs set to arrive in the coming weeks.
Nissan Gravite will officially break cover on February 17, 2026. It is essentially Nissan’s version of the Renault Triber, built on the same platform and using the same engine. However, it gets Nissan’s own design touches, including the signature V-
Motion grille, twin-strip LED DRLs, a sportier bumper and GRAVITE lettering on the bonnet.
The MPV is expected to be priced between Rs 6 lakh and Rs 9 lakh, ex-showroom. Inside, it is likely to offer a 7-inch digital driver display, an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, cruise control, rear AC vents and a cooled glove box. It will come with a 5+2 seating layout. Power will come from a 1.0-litre petrol engine producing 72 bhp and 96 Nm. A factory-fitted CNG option may also be introduced.

Mercedes-Benz will relaunch the V-Class luxury MPV in India on March 3, 2026. The new version replaces the model currently on sale and brings updated styling and features.
The V-Class will be available in 6-seater and 8-seater configurations, with Long and Extra Long wheelbase options. It keeps its large grille, boxy design and sleek LED tail lamps. Inside, buyers can expect premium features such as ambient lighting, ventilated and reclining seats with massage function, retractable footrests, dual 12.3-inch screens and powered sliding rear doors.
The India-bound model is expected to use a 2.0-litre diesel engine paired with a 9-speed automatic gearbox, similar to the global version.
VinFast will soon enter the Indian MPV space with the Limo Green, an all-electric three-row model. It will be offered with a 2+3+2 seating layout and will compete with electric MPVs like the Kia Carens Clavis EV and BYD eMax 7.
VinFast Limo Green will use a 60 kWh battery pack offering a claimed range of around 450 km on a single charge. The front-mounted electric motor will produce 201 bhp and 280 Nm of torque. Charging options include an 11 kW AC charger for home use and up to 80 kW DC fast charging, which can charge the battery from 10 to 70 percent in about 30 minutes.
The MPV will be locally produced at VinFast’s upcoming factory in Tamil Nadu and is expected to measure over 4.7 metres in length.
