Visually striking details of the exterior include vertical BMW kidney grille with hallmark double bars, powerfully sculpted wheel arches, M-specific aerodynamic exterior mirrors painted in high-gloss black, a rear spoiler and two pairs of exhaust tailpipes finished in black chrome. The four-wheeler is equipped with Adaptive M-Specific Suspension, M Sport Differential, M xDrive, M high performance compound brakes and 19-inch/20-inch M forged double-spoke wheels finished in polished Orbit Grey and Gold Bronze.
On the inside, the car gets lightweight high-tech Carbon Fibre Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) roof, Special 50 Jahre M badging on M Sport seats, central console and entry sills. Customers can opt for the M4 in Macao Blue and Imola Red paint colours with interiors finished in carbon fibre or Alcantara option.
The special edition model comes equipped with the familiar 3.0-litre straight-six petrol unit that delivers a maximum power output of 510 bhp with a peak torque of 650 Nm. The system is mated to an 8-speed M Steptronic transmission, helping the car hit the ton within 3.5 seconds.
