Continuing its launch streak, BMW India has launched its third 50 Jahre M Edition product in the country. Following in the footsteps of the 3-Series and the 6GT, the treatment now extends to the 5-Series. Available in only one variant, the 530i M Sport is priced at Rs 67.5 lakh (ex-showroom) and it gets sporty cosmetic updates.
Upfront, the car gets an all-black kidney grille along with large, clean and tautly drawn surfaces. Another highlight of the front fascia is the new 50-year logo that signifies the spirit of the M brand. Moving towards the side, we witness the new 18-inch jet black alloy wheels with Red M Sport brake calliper adding to the sporty appeal of the car. Other options on the exterior include new paint finishes including M Carbon Black, Bernina Grey Amber Effect, Phytonic Blue and Alpine White.
In addition to these, customers can also customize their 530i M Sport with a three-M accessories package (Racer, Motorsports and Carbon). Racer’s Package gives an exterior upgrade that includes side skirt in black, rear spoiler in matt black and new key fob. The Motorsport Package takes it one step further by offering exterior mirror caps in carbon fibre. The top spec Carbon Package further enhances the sporty character of the machine with a carbon fibre kidney grille, rear spoiler, mirror caps and more.
On the inside, the car gets Sensatec Perforated upholstery in Cognac finish with contrast stitching, sports seats with leather covers, seat belts with stitching in M colours, sports leather steering wheel and specific trim strips augment the sporty feel.
Like the standard model, the BMW 530i M Sport 50 Jahre M Edition comes powered by a 2-litre twin turbo petrol engine generating a maximum power output of 252bhp and peak torque of 350 Nm. This unit comes mated to an eight-speed Steptronic sport automatic transmission and completes the 0-100 kmph sprint in just 6.1 seconds.
MG Hector petrol variants now E20 fuel compatible; 2025 model launched with no price hike, meeting new emission norms and supporting sustainable mobility.
