Honda Elevate facelift launching on October 6, 2026 Zero Alpha EV will launch before the end of this financial year
Honda Cars India is preparing to launch two SUVs, the Elevate facelift and the Zero Alpha EV in the country before the end of this financial year. The updated Elevate SUV will launch in the country on October 6, 2026. In fact, official bookings of the SUV have already been commenced at a token amount of Rs 21,000. On the flip side, the Zero Alpha EV is currently undergoing rigorous testing and it is expected to launch before the end of this financial year, by March 2027.
The Honda Elevate facelift comes with a revised front fascia, featuring horizontal, segmented LED daytime running lights integrated into the grille. The Honda logo has been repositioned from the grille onto the bonnet. The chrome insert placed above the grille is finished in a contrasting shade against the new grey-like paint scheme, and a 360-degree surround view camera. The SUV will continue to be offered with LED headlamps and the eyebrow-style DRLs, and the 17-inch alloy wheel design.
The SUV gets a connected light bar at the rear, and a lighter interior theme replacing the current tan cabin. The SUV will also get ambient lighting across the dashboard and door pads. The Honda Elevate facelift will continue to be powered by a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder, naturally-aspirated petrol engine paired to a 6-speed manual and a CVT automatic.
Honda will enter the EV segment with an all-new mass-market electric SUV based on the Zero Alpha EV concept. Built on a new dedicated born-EV architecture under Honda's "Thin, Light, and Wise" engineering philosophy, the new SUV will be manufactured in India for both domestic and global exports. The SUV gets the retro-futuristic boxy crossover silhouette, retro illuminated 'H' logo integrated into the front light bar, aerodynamic flush panels and thick C-pillar design.
The Honda 0 Alpha EV gets multi-screen digital dashboard display running Honda's next-gen operating system with AI-assisted driver assistance. It comes with panoramic glass roof, ventilated front seats, wireless charging pads, multi-zone climate control, custom ambient lighting, LEVEL 2+ ADAS, and a 360-degree surround view camera.
