Ford Endeavour has now been launched in Argentina as the Everest SUV. Before this, the 7-seater SUV was available in New Zealand, Australia, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East region. Now, it will be exported to Argentina after being produced in Thailand. The local manufacturing of Everest in Argentina is yet to be confirmed. Pre-sales are scheduled to start in March 2025. Prices will also be announced during the same month.
Speculations suggest that Ford Endeavour will return in the Indian market, (which could be renamed Ford Everest), most probably this year.
New Ford Everest flaunts its full LED headlamps and taillamps. It runs on a 20-inch massive wheel with amazing off-road capabilities.
In terms of features, the SUV offers tri-zone automatic climate control with vents for all seat rows, powered-adjustable front seats with memory function, and ventilated and heated seats. Other noteworthy features include a 12-inch infotainment system with the brand's SNC 4A system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, an 8-inch digital dashboard, a large panoramic sunroof, and more.
Safety-wise, the Ford Endeavour (Everest) comes with a Co-Pilot 360 suite, a 360-degree camera, and nine airbags. The ADAS suite comprises a range of features including Pedestrian Detection, Forward Collision Warning, Front Automatic Emergency Braking, Blind Sport Warning, and Rear Cross Traffic Warning.
In Argentina, Ford Everest is launched in only tops-pec Titanium trim.
It is powered by the 2.3-litre turbo EcoBoost petrol engine, producing a maximum power of 296 bhp and 446 Nm of torque. The transmission choice includes a 10-speed automatic gearbox. It offers multiple off-road capabilities with shift-on-the-fly, 4X4 drivetrain, low-range gearing along with the locking rear differential.
It comes with a terrain management system with drive modes - Mud/Ruts, Sand, Normal/Eco, Tow/Haul, and Slippery. It also has 800 km of water-wadding capacity.
This is already confirmed that Ford Endeavour is going to come back to India. However, the India-spec model could be different from the international models. It is expected to be powered by a 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine, delivering 250 bhp and 600 Nm of peak torque. It is also said that the Ford Everest in India could also get a 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine for the lower trims. The twin-turbo motor will be produced locally at the brand's Sanand facility in Gujarat while the V6 engine will be imported from South Africa.
