Hyundai Motor India officially teased the Creta N-Line for the Indian market. The automaker has also started accepting bookings for the performance-oriented SUV ahead of its official launch scheduled for March 11th. Interested customers can book their Creta N-Line at a token amount of Rs 25,000.
Derived from the recently launched Creta Facelift, the Creta N-Line exudes a sportier aesthetic compared to its standard counterpart. Notable exterior enhancements include a distinctive rectangular front grille and bumper adorned with silver inserts, complemented by L-shaped LED DRLs and 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels accented by red brake callipers. At the rear, it boasts a sporty bumper design featuring dual-tip exhaust outlets, a roof spoiler, and side skirts with red accents.
In line with its sporty motif, the Creta N-Line showcases an all-black interior highlighted by red accents, featuring an N-Line-specific steering wheel, gear lever, and aluminium pedals.
The compact SUV will come equipped with a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine. The power plant should be capable of delivering a maximum power of output of 158 bhp with 253 Nm of peak torque. It will be offered with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. To enhance its performance, the N Line variant will feature a stiffer suspension setup for sharper handling, along with refined steering and exhaust tuning.
Anticipate an increase in price of approximately Rs 50,000 for the N-Line variant compared to the standard Creta which is priced between Rs 10.99 lakh to Rs 19.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
When the 2024 Creta N-Line debuts, it will stand alone in its category without a direct competitor. However, other special edition models in this segment, such as the Kia Seltos X Line and the Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo, offer similar features.
