Kia Motors India has planned to launch a slew of new cars for the Indian market. The South Korean automaker started this year with the launch of the Sonet facelift in January 2024. The Seltos and Sonet also received a new GTX+ trim to the existing variant lineup. Other Kia upcoming cars such as Clavis, EV9, New Carnival, and Carens EV are also in the works. However, the new Kia Carnival and EV9 are expected to launch in 2024.
Have a look at the upcoming Kia cars:

The fourth-generation Carnival is expected to launch during this year's festive season. Previously, it was showcased at Auto Expo 2023 as 'New KA4'. Since then the model has been undergoing testing. Recently, the MPV was spied on roads without camouflage, indicating the design details for the India-spec model.
The new Carnival will have a more rugged and SUV-inspired design. It will be larger in size than its predecessor. Some of its interior highlights include a dual 12.3-inch screen setup for infotainment and a digital instrument cluster, a wireless charger, front & rear dash cameras, an updated digital key, a rotary drive selector, ambient lighting, and more.
Beneath the hood, it will house a 2.2-litre diesel engine, producing 200 bhp of power. Expect it to be priced at around Rs 45 lakh (ex-showroom).

Kia is likely to launch its bold and futuristic-looking electric SUV, EV9 by September 2024. Its concept model was also presented at the 2023 Auto Expo which attracted many eyeballs.
This upcoming 3-row SUV is likely to be available with multiple seating layouts. Inside, it will come loaded with tech features including a trio of screens for infotainment, an instrument cluster, and a pair of smaller displays for the digital wing mirrors.
The EV9 is expected to get a 99.8kWh, 800V battery pack that can offer a range of up to 563 km (WLTP-claimed). It could also come with a RWD and AWD system. Expected to be brought as a CBU model, it could be priced at Rs 1 crore (ex-showroom).
