Bookings for the Tata Sierra are open at authorised Tata dealerships and through the official Tata Motors website. The booking amount is Rs 21,000, which will be adjusted against the final vehicle price.
The new Sierra is offered in seven variants - Smart+, Pure, Pure+, Adventure, Adventure+, Accomplished and Accomplished+. Prices start at Rs 11.49 lakh and go up to Rs 21.29 lakh (ex-showroom).
The 2025 Sierra comes with a tall and upright SUV stance. All lighting elements are LED, and the SUV rides on 19-inch alloy wheels. Inside, it features a triple-screen setup, including a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 12.3-inch passenger display. Key highlights include a JBL 12-speaker sound system with Dolby Atmos, a dash-mounted soundbar, ambient lighting and a large panoramic sunroof.
On the safety side, the Sierra offers Level 2+ ADAS with 22 features. Connected car technology and several comfort features are also part of the package across variants.
Tata Sierra is available with three 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine options. The naturally aspirated Revotron petrol engine produces 106 PS and 145 Nm and is offered with a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic.
The turbocharged Hyperion petrol engine delivers 160 PS and 255 Nm and is paired only with a 6-speed torque converter automatic.
Diesel buyers get the Kryojet turbo diesel engine, which produces 118 PS and 260 Nm with the manual gearbox, and up to 280 Nm with the 6-speed torque converter automatic.
Tata has shared results from controlled tests at NATRAX Indore. During a certified 12-hour run, the Sierra Hyperion petrol automatic recorded a mileage of 29.9 kmpl. In a separate high-speed test, the SUV achieved a top speed of 222 kmph. Customer vehicles will be electronically limited to a top speed of 190 kmph.
Tata Sierra competes in the mid-size SUV segment. Its main rivals include the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Maruti Suzuki Victoris and the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder.
