The front grill gets a Hyundai signature cascading grille design with LED DRLs in the shape of H. It also features projector headlamps and a skid plate.
Further, its boxy shape adds to the large body size appeal. You can find sculpted lines all across the exterior based on the brand’s parametric design and a sporty C-pillar garnish.

Because of its boxy shape, the cabin of the Exterior feels spacious and roomy. High-quality materials have been utilised for the interior bits and the ergonomic layout ensures the touch points are easily accessible.
There is no compromise on the tech front either. There is a state-of-the-art infotainment system with smartphone connectivity and a rich sound setup. Safety features onboard include six airbags as standard, ABS and EBD.

Under the hood does duty a 1.2-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine sourced from the Grand i10. The same naturally aspirated motor was available in the Hyundai Aura. Mated to either a five-speed manual or an AMT gearbox, the block makes 81 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 114 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. CNG Exter is down to 68 horsepower and 95.2 Nm of torque.
Most Indian buyers keep mileage on top when buying cars and the Exter was built to satisfy just that. Hyundai as a brand is famous for its reliability and wide after-sales network.
On the highway, expect a mileage of up to 20 kilometres per litre and 19 kilometres per litre in city driving. However, if you were to buy the CNG Exter, you can easily expect an ARAI mileage of 21 kilometres.
