Tata Motors has recently updated its flagship SUV models; Tata Harrier and Tata Safari facelift. Both SUVs have received major changes which include an updated design along with more features on the inside.
The price for the Tata Harrier and Tata Safari facelift has also been revealed today. The starting price of the new Harrier is set at Rs 15.49 lakh (ex-showroom) while the Safari facelift is priced at Rs 16.19 lakh (ex-showroom). Both prices are introductory.
Since both SUVs have received a major facelift, it was expected the models would come with a significant price hike compared to the outgoing models. To our surprise, the new Tata Safari facelift shares similar pricing to the old Safari with just a marginal increase despite the added tech.
Let's compare the prices for Tata Safari facelift with its outgoing model.

Despite these upgrades, Tata Motors maintained competitive pricing, positioning the facelifted Safari as an attractive choice within its segment, especially when compared to the older model.
With an optimal balance of updated features, the facelifted Tata Safari is priced between Rs 16.19 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Smart variant. Its top-spec variant, Accomplished+ is priced at Rs 25.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
In comparison to the old pricing, the pricing of the new Safari did not make much difference. The outgoing model retails at Rs 15.84 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base variant while its top-spec variant comes with a price tag of Rs 25.21 lakh (ex-showroom).
However, the 2023 Tata Safari is worth the price as it comes equipped with lots of unique changes to the exterior design, tech-loaded features, powerful performance, and attractive colour choices.

Apart from this, Tata Motors has offered Level-2 ADAS tech which will offer 11 assistive features including Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Detection, and more.
Safety has also been ensured. Features like a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, ABS with EBD, ESP, Hill Descent Control, and Drive Attention Alert are also provided in the new Safari and Harrier facelift.
Excluding these changes, the 2024 Tata Safari also comes with more features on the inside that includes a 12.3-inch touchscreen system along with another 10.25-inch digital drivers display. Other notable elements include dual-zone AC, mood lighting, captain seats with ventilation and a large panoramic sunroof among others.
