MINI Convertible first batch sold out in 24 hours Second batch bookings open Deliveries from January 2026
The first batch of the all-new MINI Convertible has been sold out within 24 hours. This Convertible was launched in India on 12 December 2025 as a completely-built-up unit. It is available at an ex-showroom price of Rs 58.50 lakh, ex-showroom, Pan India.
Potential customers for the all-new MINI Convertible can now make their bookings for the next phase of deliveries starting from early next year. It is available in 4 exterior colour choices, including British Racing Green, Chili Red, Sunny Side Yellow and Ocean Wave Green.

Mr. Hardeep Singh Brar, President and CEO, BMW Group India, said “That was quick! The speed at which the all-new MINI Convertible sold underscores how strongly our community resonates with irresistible design and a genuinely fun, authentic driving experience. We anticipated excitement, but this immediate embrace of the MINI lifestyle has been extraordinary. MINI owners don't follow trends, they carve their own path, top down. We can't wait to see this iconic MINI adding a burst of energy to streets across India.”
The MINI Convertible has a folding roof, which opens automatically in just 18 seconds with speeds up to 30kmph. At the same time, the window bars and side windows are lowered to provide a completely unobstructed view of the surroundings. The soft top closes in 15 seconds at the touch of a button. It can also be partially opened to act as a sunroof, to a length of 40 centimetres, regardless of speed. When the top is open, the MINI Convertible has a luggage compartment volume of 160 litres. When closed, it expands to 215 litres.
Powering the new MINI Convertible is a 2.0L TwinPower Turbo engine that produces 204hp and 300Nm of peak torque. It is claimed to achieve 0-100kmph in just 6.9 seconds before hitting a top speed of 240kmph. This engine is paired to a 7-speed Double Clutch Steptronic Sport Transmission.
