Mini Countryman C launched in India at Rs 47.5 lakh. Gets OLED display, ADAS features, and premium cabin tech. Powered by 156hp turbo engine with 7-speed automatic gearbox.
Mini has launched the Countryman C in India at a price of Rs 47.5 lakh (ex-showroom). This new model becomes the entry point into the third-generation Countryman lineup and brings a more accessible option compared to the performance-focused JCW All4 variant.
The SUV is locally assembled at BMW Group’s Chennai plant, which helps it achieve a more competitive price in the luxury compact SUV segment.
One of the biggest highlights of the Countryman C is its local assembly in India.
This helps reduce costs and makes it more competitively positioned against rivals like the BMW X1, Mercedes-Benz GLA, and Audi Q3. The SUV also shares its platform with the BMW X1, known as the UKL2 architecture.

The Countryman C continues Mini’s iconic design language but with a cleaner and more modern approach.
It features an octagonal grille, adaptive LED headlights, and redesigned LED tail-lamps. It also gets customizable DRL light signatures, giving it a more premium identity.
Champagne-coloured detailing on the grille, skid plates, and badges adds a unique touch, while 19-inch dual-tone alloy wheels enhance its road presence.
The SUV measures 4,447mm in length, 1,843mm in width, and 1,661mm in height, with a 2,692mm wheelbase.
Inside, the Countryman C follows Mini’s modern minimalist design theme.
The highlight is the 9.4-inch circular OLED touchscreen, which controls most infotainment and vehicle functions.
Key features include:
The rear seats can slide and recline, while boot space stands at 505 litres, expandable up to 1,450 litres.
Mini has equipped the Countryman C with a strong safety package.
It comes with ADAS features like forward collision warning, lane departure warning, pedestrian protection, and driver attention assist. The SUV also carries a 5-star Euro NCAP safety rating, adding to its safety credentials.
Powering the Countryman C is a 1.5-litre, three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine producing 156hp and 240Nm of torque. It is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, with power sent to the front wheels.
The SUV can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 9 seconds and has a top speed of 212 km/h, along with a claimed fuel efficiency of 15.92 kmpl.
