Audi has officially revealed the new-gen Q3 for global markets. The third-generation Q3 SUV has a bold new look, updated hybrid powertrains, advanced lighting, and improved safety features. Since its launch, the Q3 has been one of Audi’s best-selling models, with over two million units sold worldwide.
At the front, the wider Singleframe grille and sleek headlights are integrated into a cleaner, more aerodynamic layout.
A strong shoulder line runs across the sides, giving the SUV a bold and muscular stance.
At the rear, the new Q3 features optional digital OLED tail-lights for the first time in this segment. These lights are connected by a continuous LED light strip and feature illuminated Audi rings, making the SUV stand out even at night.
The latest Q3 debuts digital Matrix LED headlights that now use micro-LED modules. These offer sharper brightness and help improve visibility during nighttime driving. The digital daytime running lights also create unique light patterns that make the Q3 easily recognizable. These light signatures are connected with the SUV’s driver-assist features, improving both safety and style.
Inside, the new Q3 is more practical and premium. A redesigned steering wheel unit clears up space in the centre console, while new stalk controls offer easier access to driving functions and lighting. For the first time in this segment, Audi offers acoustic glass for the front windows, which helps reduce noise inside the cabin at high speeds.
The Q3 offers a boot space of 488 litres, which can go up to 1,386 litres when the rear seats are folded down. The seats can also be slid forward or backward and their angle adjusted for added comfort and flexibility. The SUV can now tow up to 2,100 kg, making it even more useful for families and long-distance travellers.
Audi is offering the new Q3 with a range of powertrains. The entry-level variant comes with a 110kW petrol engine paired with mild-hybrid tech. There’s also a diesel variant suited for long highway trips. The most advanced option is the Q3 e-hybrid, which uses a high-voltage battery that can be charged up to 50kW with DC fast charging. It offers an electric-only range of up to 119 km (WLTP).
The updated suspension setup in the new Q3 promises a smoother ride. Buyers can also opt for a sports suspension or a version with adaptive dampers for better control. New driver assistance features include adaptive cruise assist, reverse assist, and even a trained parking function that remembers your frequent parking maneuvers. A camera inside the cabin also keeps an eye on the driver to detect drowsiness.
The new Audi Q3 will go on sale globally in October, with bookings opening in the summer. In Germany, the starting price is set at €44,600 for the petrol version and €49,300 for the e-hybrid. Audi will build the SUV in both Hungary and Germany. An India launch is confirmed, and the model is expected to arrive here shortly after the global rollout.
