New Audi Q3 to launch in India on October 16 Gets 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine and Quattro AWD Expected to cost around Rs 55-60 lakh
Audi India is set to launch the new Q3 in India on October 16, 2026. The third-generation SUV made its India debut in August and will be the first of Audi’s new-generation models to arrive in the country.
The new Q3 will replace the current second-generation model, which has been on sale in India for around four years. The upcoming SUV will also be locally assembled in India. Bookings for the new Q3 have already opened.
The new Audi Q3 will be offered in India with a 2.0-litre direct-injection turbo-petrol engine. Audi has not yet confirmed the India-spec power figures, but the engine is expected to produce around 204hp and 320Nm.
The engine is expected to be paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. Power will be sent to all four wheels through Audi’s Quattro all-wheel-drive system, which is likely to be offered as standard across the Q3 range. The new Q3 is expected to be sold only with a petrol engine, with no diesel option planned for India.

The third-generation Q3 gets a more aggressive design compared with the outgoing model. One of the biggest changes is the new split headlamp setup, which also gets configurable daytime running lights. The SUV gets body-coloured cladding along the sides, a chrome beltline and black trim around the side windows and rear windscreen. It also rides on 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. At the rear, the Q3 gets split tail-lamps, an illuminated Audi logo and a roof spoiler. Overall, the new design gives the SUV a more modern and sharper look.
The cabin of the new Audi Q3 gets a major technology upgrade. It features a dual-screen setup with a digital driver’s display and a central infotainment screen. Other highlights include a four-spoke steering wheel and a steering column-mounted gear lever. The SUV is also expected to come with features such as a Sonos sound system, panoramic sunroof, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual-zone climate control and a 360-degree camera. The new interior is aimed at giving the Q3 a more premium feel while also adding more technology than the outgoing model.
The current Audi Q3 is priced between Rs 43.67 lakh and Rs 53 lakh, ex-showroom. Since the upcoming model is an all-new generation, it is expected to cost more than the outgoing SUV. The new Audi Q3 is expected to be priced at around Rs 55 lakh-60 lakh, ex-showroom.
