Mahindra preparing multiple new SUVs and EVs for India Scorpio-N facelift, Thar facelift and BE.07 EV coming soon New Vision.S and Vision.T SUVs also under development
Mahindra is preparing a major expansion of its SUV lineup in India.
The company has already confirmed plans to launch 16 new SUVs by March 2031, including both ICE and electric models.
In the short term, Mahindra will continue focusing on high-volume petrol and diesel SUVs, while several new EVs are also under development.
Interestingly, five important Mahindra SUVs are expected to arrive over the next couple of years.

Mahindra is expected to launch a facelifted version of the Scorpio-N soon.
The SUV could get updated headlamps and tail-lamp graphics, refreshed bumpers, and a revised front grille. New alloy wheel designs are also expected.
Inside, Mahindra may offer a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a fully digital instrument cluster.
The engines are likely to remain unchanged.
The popular Mahindra Thar is also set to receive a facelift update.
The new model is expected to borrow styling inspiration from the larger Thar Roxx with a redesigned grille, bi-LED projector headlamps, and C-shaped DRLs.
Mahindra may also add features like ventilated front seats, passive keyless entry, and a wireless charger.
Mechanically, the SUV is expected to continue with the current engine and gearbox options.
Mahindra is also preparing the production version of the Vision.S concept.
This upcoming SUV will likely sit between the XUV 3XO and Thar in the company’s lineup.
The SUV is expected to use Mahindra’s new NU_IQ monocoque platform while still offering a rugged SUV-like design and strong road presence.
Powertrain options may include a 1.2-litre turbo petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine.

Mahindra’s futuristic BE.07 electric SUV is also expected to launch next year.
The upcoming EV could offer a driving range of up to 650 km on a single charge, making it one of the longer-range electric SUVs in its segment.
The BE.07 is expected to feature a sporty coupe-style design, premium interiors, connected screens, and advanced tech features.
Higher variants may also get an all-wheel-drive setup.
Mahindra is also working on the production version of the Vision.T concept, which is based on the Thar.e concept shown earlier.
The SUV is expected to launch in 2027 and could become an electric alternative to the Thar Roxx.
It is likely to be offered with both single-motor and dual-motor setups, including AWD variants.
