Nissan Magnite Facelift Spied Again; Gets New Headlamps, Skid Plates

While the Nissan Magnite facelift’s images have been doing rounds on the internet, this time it was spotted parked behind in a BNCAP test video of Tata Punch EV. Not much could be ascertained as it was covered with only the left front fascia partially visible. Magnite currently rivals the Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Renault Kiger, Maruti Suzuki Brezza and Mahindra 3XO.

Upon closer look, the new front grille and headlamps have been refreshed and look sharper besides the LED DRLs that seem to be retained. Notably, a silver skid plate has been added to the sub-compact SUV.

The interior will be equipped with new bits all around, including a redesigned dashboard, cooled glove box and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, reports said. A single-pane sunroof and six airbags will be offered as well.

The upcoming Magnite SUV is expected to continue with the existing engine pair of 1.0-litre naturally aspirated and turbo-petrol three-cylinder engines, churning out 71 bhp/96 Nm and 99 bhp/160 Nm respectively. The former can be bought with a five-speed manual or AMT, however, CVT is reserved for the latter.
