Nissan Magnite Facelift has recently been spotted ahead of its official launch. It is likely to make its debut in the market at the end of this year. With a current base price of Rs 6 lakh (ex-showroom), the Magnite stands as one of the most affordable SUVs in the Indian market, alongside the Renault Kiger.
Although the test model remains fully camouflaged, observers can notice a new set of alloy wheels on the vehicle. While the overall silhouette appears unchanged, the bumpers seem to have been upgraded to provide a fresh look.
In addition, the automaker might also introduce newly designed headlamps and tail lights to enhance the appearance of the facelifted SUV.
Inside, it is likely to be equipped with features such as an electric sunroof, an auto-dimming IRVM, and ventilated front seats.
The engine options for the updated Magnite will remain unchanged. Hence, it is likely to offer the same 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine and 1.0-litre turbo-petrol mill. The former currently produces a maximum power output of 71 bhp with 96 Nm of peak torque. The latter on the other delivers 99 bhp and 160 Nm torque.
While Nissan has not provided any official details yet regarding the launch of the Magnite Facelift, recent sightings of the car suggest that it could soon be ready for production. As for the pricing, the Magnite has consistently appealed to buyers due to its affordability. For the updated model, it is likely to continue this trend. The current model is priced at Rs 6 lakh (ex-showroom).
Following its launch, the Magnite Facelift will compete against the likes of Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, and Mahindra XUV300.
