Porsche 911 GT3 S/C Revealed – Convertible GT3 with Manual Gearbox

GT3 goes convertible 510hp with manual gearbox Open-top performance beast

Porsche has revealed the all-new Porsche 911 GT3 S/C, bringing a fresh twist to the iconic GT3 lineup.

This is the first time a GT3 model has been offered with a fully automatic convertible roof, making it a unique addition to the 911 family.

A GT3 with Open-Top Driving

The biggest highlight of the new model is its fully automatic fabric roof.

It can open or close in around 12 seconds and works even while driving at speeds of up to 50 km/h. Despite being a convertible, the car maintains a coupe-like shape when the roof is closed.

Powerful Naturally Aspirated Engine

The 911 GT3 S/C is powered by a 4.0-litre naturally aspirated flat-six engine.

It produces 510 hp and 450 Nm of torque and can rev up to 9,000 rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox, keeping the driving experience pure and engaging.

Porsche claims a 0-100 km/h time of 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 313 km/h.

Lightweight and Track-Focused

The GT3 S/C uses several lightweight materials inspired by the Porsche 911 S/T.

Carbon fibre is used for parts like the bonnet and doors, while magnesium is used in the wheels and roof structure. The car also gets carbon-ceramic brakes as standard.

Even with the convertible setup, the car weighs just 1,497 kg.

Design Stays True to GT3 DNA

The design carries forward key GT3 elements like the front lip, rear diffuser and retractable rear spoiler.

At the front, new LED headlamps free up space for larger air intakes, improving cooling and performance.

Focused Two-Seater Cabin

Inside, the car is configured as a strict two-seater.

It gets sports seats as standard, with optional carbon-fibre bucket seats for a more track-focused feel. Lightweight materials are used throughout the cabin to reduce weight.

A digital instrument cluster with Track Screen mode displays key driving data, including tyre pressure and temperatures.

Availability and India Plans

The new GT3 S/C is now available to order globally.

However, Porsche has not yet confirmed if or when this model will arrive in India.
