Porsche has unveiled the new 911 Turbo S Hybrid at the Munich Motor Show 2025. Available in both coupe and cabriolet body styles, the new model is the most powerful Turbo S ever, producing 711hp. The flagship sports car is already listed on Porsche India’s website, which strongly suggests an India launch in 2026.

On the outside, the new 911 Turbo S is distinguished by exclusive Turbonite trim, a bronze-like finish that highlights the emblems, wheels, and rear badging.

The model is also wider than the standard Carrera, featuring large air intakes ahead of the rear wheel arches, a ducktail wing, and new centre-lock alloy wheels measuring 20 inches at the front and 21 inches at the rear.

The rear tyres are also wider than before to improve grip and stability. Aerodynamic enhancements include active air curtains and a front diffuser, which open and close as required, reducing drag by up to 10 percent. HD Matrix LED headlights are fitted as standard, adding to the car’s modern appeal.
The cabin of the new 911 Turbo S carries forward the Turbonite theme, with accents on the steering wheel, dashboard, centre console, door panels, seat belts, and even the stopwatch.

It is equipped with all the modern comforts expected from a Porsche, including a digital driver’s display, a touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual-zone climate control, and 18-way electrically adjustable sports seats with memory function. Buyers will also have a wide range of customisation options to personalise their car.

The latest Porsche 911 Turbo S comes with a 3.6-litre twin-turbocharged flat-six ‘T-Hybrid’ engine paired with an additional electric turbocharger. Together, this hybrid system develops 711hp and 800Nm of torque, which is 61hp more than the outgoing model. The power is transmitted to all four wheels through an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission.

With this setup, the car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds and hit 200 km/h in 8.4 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 322 km/h. The new model also gets the largest carbon ceramic brakes ever fitted to a two-door Porsche and benefits from the latest Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control technology for sharper handling.

Even with the additional hybrid components, the new Turbo S Coupe is only 85kg heavier than its predecessor. Porsche engineers claim the performance gains more than compensate for the added weight. Proof of this is the Nürburgring lap time of 7:03.92 minutes, which is an impressive 14 seconds quicker than the older model, making this the fastest Turbo S to lap the legendary track.
