Porsche Macan EV launched at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025 Three variants includes RWD, 4S, and Turbo, starting at Rs. 1.21 crore It was the first luxury and performance Porsche all-electric SUV
Porsche has launched the Macan EV at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025 in India. The three versions of this SUV are a base Rear-Wheel Drive, 4S, and Turbo. The ex-showroom starting price for RWD is at Rs. 1.21 crore, while 4S and Turbo variants sit at Rs. 1.68 crore, making Macan EV Porsche's first all-electric SUV in India.

The Macan EV is sleek and futuristic, with the look being true to Porsche's design language. There are several new customization options available to buyers. Some of these are 20-inch Macan S wheels and an off-road design package that can increase ground clearance to 195mm, although this can be increased to 225mm using the standard air suspension. The off-road package also includes a redesigned front bumper, side skirts, diffuser, 21-inch wheels, and optional Vesuvius Grey or body-colored roof rails.

The Macan EV is loaded with performance abilities. The Turbo variant makes 576bhp in standard mode, which jumps to 630bhp if Launch Control and Overboost is activated, thereby delivering 1,130Nm of torque. The 4S variant does 442bhp and 0-100km/h in just 3.9 seconds. Both variants will be equipped with Porsche Active Suspension Management for greater damping control as well as Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus with rear-axle steering to enhance handling capabilities.

The Macan EV boasts a 100kWh battery that is built upon the Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture. It further offers rapid charging at 270 kW. The battery goes from 10% to 80% in 21 minutes. Under the WLTP cycle, the car has up to 518-590 km with a single charge. On the other hand, city driving is at its maximum at 762 km, meaning it can even take long drives and be a good daily use vehicle.
Inside, the Macan EV has a luxury interior, with an optional 12.6-inch curved digital instrument cluster and a 10.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Add-ons that come in this include passenger 10.9-inch display, augmented reality head-up display, and ambient lighting, for which one can choose their favorite light and display backgrounds from the Themes app, by Porsche's innovation, by the exterior color of the car.
