New Porsche Cayenne Electric starts at Rs 1.77 crore in India. Cayenne Electric Turbo produces up to 1,154bhp and 1,500Nm. 10-80 per cent charging takes just 26 minutes using a 400V DC charger.
The new-generation Porsche Cayenne has officially arrived in India in an all-electric avatar. The electric SUV is available in two variants, including a powerful Turbo version. Prices start at Rs 1.77 crore, while the Cayenne Electric Turbo is priced at Rs 2.27 crore (ex-showroom, before customisation and optional extras). Bookings for the new electric Cayenne were announced in late 2025, and deliveries are set to begin today.
The new Cayenne Electric is offered in two variants in India. The standard version is priced at Rs 1.77 crore, while the range-topping Turbo costs Rs 2.27 crore. Porsche also offers a long list of optional features and customisation choices. Depending on the options selected, the final price can increase by around Rs 15 lakh.
The standard Cayenne Electric gets a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup that produces up to 440bhp and 835Nm. It can accelerate from 0-100kmph in 4.8 seconds and has a top speed of 230kmph. The Cayenne Electric Turbo takes performance to another level. Its dual-motor setup produces up to 1,154bhp and 1,500Nm. It can sprint from 0-100kmph in just 2.5 seconds, while the top speed is rated at 260kmph.
The electric Cayenne also gets fast-charging technology. Using a 400V DC fast charger, the battery can be charged from 10 to 80 per cent in just 26 minutes. Porsche claims that a 10-minute charging session can add up to 325km of range to the standard Cayenne Electric. The Turbo can recover up to 312km of range in the same time.
The new Cayenne Electric measures 4.98 metres in length and has a 3.02-metre wheelbase, giving it a spacious cabin. The feature list includes four-zone climate control, dual digital screens, powered seats for all occupants, a powered tailgate, full-LED lighting, a panoramic glass roof and wireless charging. The Turbo variant additionally gets the Sport Chrono package. Porsche also offers several personalisation options, allowing customers to choose different exterior, interior and equipment combinations.
The electric Cayenne retains the familiar shape of the Porsche SUV while adding a few new design elements. It gets 21-inch wheels, quad LED headlights and contrast-coloured door handles. The signature Cayenne roofline has also been retained, helping the electric version remain visually connected to the existing Cayenne range.
The new electric Cayenne will not immediately replace the internal-combustion versions. Porsche is expected to continue offering the ICE Cayenne alongside the electric model. The automaker has already announced updates for the third-generation ICE Cayenne family, which is expected to be revealed in early 2027.
