Skoda Slavia facelift has been spotted testing for the first time in India. The sedan was under heavy camouflage yet it gave us an idea of what we can expect from the updated model. Let's see what we know so far.
The spy shots taken by Akshay Ballal in Pune reveal limited angles only; mainly the rear profile. Based on the images, the car features a redesigned rear bumper, LED tail lamp clusters, and a shark fin antenna. Apart from this, the side profile looks identical to the current model. However, the test mule has pull-type door handles and matte black alloy wheels.
Besides, the facelift model is likely to get minor changes for the front fascia including a redesigned front grille, headlights, and bumper. It is also said that the Level 2 ADAS and a 360-degree camera could also be on offer.
The Slavia facelift is expected to use the same set of engines as the current model. These include a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, making 114 bhp and 178 Nm of torque and the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol, producing 148 bhp with 250 Nm. Transmission jobs will be handled by 6-speed manual, 6-speed automatic, and 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearboxes.
