Maruti Suzuki has launched the new-generation Swift with a refreshed look, a variety of features, better safety, and a new powertrain option. Starting at Rs 6.49 lakh (ex-showroom), the new Swift is promising better mileage figures compared to its predecessor.
Maruti has given a significant design update for the new Swift, especially on its front fascia. The recently launched Swift gets an all-new front grille, a clamshell bonnet and a floating roofline. It also has large headlamps with L-shaped DRLs, giving it a whole new look compared to its outgoing version. The brand logo has also been repositioned on the bonnet.
On the side, the rear door handles now get their conventional position instead of the C-pillar. It also gets dual-tone alloy wheels with new design patterns, making it look quite modern from its old model.
The rear profile largely remains the same though it gets subtle changes to give it a fresh look. It gets new C-shaped tail lamps and a wraparound rear windshield.

Another big change is the addition of new tech features that the old version was missing out on. For instance, the new Swift comes equipped with a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, replacing its old 7-inch unit.
In addition, the new-gen Swift is a more driver-focused cabin with a 3-spoke steering wheel. Other new features include a height-adjustable driver seat, automatic climate control, electric ORVMs, a wireless charger, a twin-dial instrument cluster, and more.
