Maruti Suzuki is gearing up to launch a range of exciting new cars in a couple of years. With a focus on innovation, reliability, and affordability, these upcoming cars are expected to make a significant impact in the automotive market.
Let’s know more about the upcoming Maruti Suzuki cars and SUVs in 2024 and 2025.

Maruti Suzuki is ready to introduce its New-Gen Swift for the Indian market. It is expected to be launched on May 9. Based on the modified HEARTECT platform, the new Swift will receive design updates and an all-new interior.
Some of its exterior features include a new grille, redesigned front bumper, updated headlamps, a new set of alloy wheels, and stylish tailgate design with inverted C-shaped LED tail-lights.
The interior of the new Swift will be quite different from the outgoing model. It will feature a new dual-tone black/beige scheme, similar to the Baleno hatchback. Other noteworthy features include a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, flat-bottom steering wheel, keyless entry, automatic AC, reverse parking camera, and more.
It will be powered by a 1.2-litre Z-Series petrol engine, producing 82 bhp with 108 Nm of torque. A hybrid setup will also be on offer. Price for the 2024 Swift could be between Rs 6.5 lakh and Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom).

After the new Swift, the new-gen Maruti Suzuki Dzire will be launched in our market. The automaker will launch the new-gen Dzire during the festive season with an updated exterior design, interior, and new engine options.
The updated subcompact sedan will feature a new grille, LED headlamp clusters, new alloy wheels, and a revamped tailgate. Interior of the car will be inspired by the Fronx and Baleno. Moreover, it is likely to offer a larger 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 360-degree camera, and a sunroof.
Powered by the same engine as Swift (1.2-litre petrol unit), it will deliver 82 bhp with 108 Nm of torque. We can expect a price hike over the existing model and it could cost somewhere around Rs 7 lakh and Rs 10.5 lakh (ex-showroom).

Maruti Suzuki had showcased the eVX electric SUV concept at the 2023 Auto Expo. The company has officially announced that the production version of the e-SUV will arrive in our market sometime next year, most probably in the first quarter of 2025. In terms of design, it will feature dual-pod projector headlamps, LED taillights, silver-coloured multi-spoke alloy wheels, shark-fin antenna, roof rails, and more.
It is expected to come with two battery packs - 48kWh or 60kWh, with a maximum range of 500 km on a single charge. It will be manufactured locally at Suzuki’s Gujarat-based manufacturing plant and will also be exported to select international markets including Europe and Japan.

The Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara is currently available in a 5-seater avatar; however, the company is working on a new 3-row version. This 7-seater SUV will be based on an elongated Global C platform to accommodate a larger wheelbase & bigger SUV. It will be manufactured at Suzuki’s new production facility in Haryana, which is likely to be operational by year or in 2025. The SUV is expected to be offered in both 6 and 7-seat layout with the former having captain seats in the second row.
The upcoming 7-seater Grand Vitara is likely to continue with the same engine available in the current model, which includes a 1.5-litre four-cylinder K15C mild hybrid petrol engine and a Toyota-sourced 1.5-litre three-cylinder strong hybrid petrol engine.

Maruti Suzuki is set to introduce a hybrid version of the Fronx model. Instead of using Toyota's hybrid technology, the manufacturer is developing its own hybrid engine, named HEV. It is expected to be highly fuel-efficient, and likely to offer a mileage of approximately 35 kmpl. The hybrid powertrain will comprise an all-new Z12E, 3-cylinder engine, a 1.5-2kWh battery pack, and an electric motor. The 3-cylinder engine will work as a generator to charge the battery pack, while the electric motor will drive the front wheels. Not just the hybrid powertrain, the Fronx facelift will also receive cosmetic design changes and more features inside the cabin. The new model is most likely to be launched in mid-2025.
