Ventilated seats are no longer limited to expensive luxury cars in India. With hot summers becoming a major concern, carmakers are now offering this comfort feature in more affordable models as well. If you are looking for a budget-friendly car with ventilated front seats, there are several options available across hatchback, sedan and SUV segments. Here are five of the most affordable cars in India that offer ventilated front seats.
The Tata Aeris is currently one of the most affordable cars in India to offer ventilated front seats. The recently launched compact sedan gets this feature in the top-spec Accomplished trim. The Aeris offers ventilated seats with both petrol and CNG powertrains, along with manual and AMT gearbox options. Prices for the Accomplished variant with ventilated front seats start at Rs. 8.20 lakh, ex-showroom. The petrol-manual version is priced at Rs. 8,19,990, while the petrol-AMT costs Rs. 8,74,990. The CNG-manual and CNG-AMT versions are priced at Rs. 9,19,990 and Rs. 9,74,990, respectively. This also makes the Aeris the only car on this list to offer ventilated seats with a CNG powertrain.

The Renault Kiger is the most affordable SUV in India with ventilated front seats. Renault offers the feature exclusively with the top-spec Emotion trim. Prices start at Rs. 8.50 lakh for the 1.0-litre petrol-manual version. The same engine with a CVT costs Rs. 10.40 lakh, while the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol manual starts at Rs. 9.40 lakh. The ventilated seats are available with both single-tone and dual-tone versions. This gives buyers several options depending on their preferred engine and styling package.
The Maruti Baleno is another affordable option with ventilated front seats and is the most affordable hatchback on this list. The feature is available with the top-spec Alpha and Alpha (O) variants. Prices start at Rs. 9,09,900 for the Alpha petrol-manual version. The Alpha (O) manual costs Rs. 9,49,900, while the AMT versions are priced at Rs. 9,59,900 and Rs. 9,99,000 for the Alpha and Alpha (O) trims, respectively. With claimed fuel efficiency of up to 24.77km/l, the Baleno also offers strong mileage along with the added comfort of ventilated seats.
The Maruti Brezza offers ventilated front seats in its range-topping ZXi+ trim. The feature is available with two powertrain and transmission combinations. The ZXi+ 1.0-litre turbo-petrol manual is priced at Rs. 11,41,500, while the ZXi+ 1.5-litre petrol automatic costs Rs. 13,70,500, both ex-showroom. This makes the Brezza a practical option for those who want an SUV with ventilated seats without moving into the more expensive midsize SUV segment.
The Citroen Basalt X is the most affordable midsize car on this list with ventilated front seats. The SUV-coupe, which competes with the Tata Curvv, offers the feature only in its top-spec Max trim. The Max 1.2-litre petrol-manual version starts at Rs. 11,34,300. The turbo-petrol manual is priced at Rs. 12,62,500, while the turbo-petrol automatic costs Rs. 13,89,500. The Basalt X therefore offers ventilated front seats along with the option of a turbo-petrol engine and automatic gearbox.
