This festive season, Honda Cars India will be launching its most-anticipating compact SUV called the Elevate. Toyota Kirloskar Motors recently took the wraps off its new MPV offering, Rumion in India. A rebadged version of the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, the Rumion will be launched during the festive season with a price range of Rs 8.5 lakh to Rs 11.5 lakh (ex-showroom). It will be offered with both petrol and CNG engine options. Apart from the Ertiga, the All-New Toyota Rumion will compete against the likes of the Maruti Suzuki XL6 and the KIA Carens in its segment.
The C3 Aircross will be the fourth product to take entry into the Indian car market within Citroen India’s product portfolio. It is slated to launch in September 2023 with bookings expected to commence in the same month. The SUV will compete in the crowded compact SUV category. Further, the French automaker will offer four customization packs on the New C3 Aircross.
The Nexon has been dominating the sales record in the sub-compact SUV segment for several months. Now, Tata Motors is gearing up to launch the facelifted version of Nexon in the market by September 2023. According to media reports, the brand could rename this model and will offer touch-based HVAC control which is inspired by the Curvv Concept. Being an affordable manufacturer, the upcoming Nexon facelift could be priced between Rs 7.80 lakh to Rs 14.50 lakh (ex-showroom).

Another upcoming and probably the most expensive car on the list is the Audi Q8 e-tron. This will be the flagship electric SUV from the German brand that will make its entry with a new design, bigger battery pack, new features, and improved technology. Pre-launch bookings are already underway. Customers can book their electric SUV for a token amount of Rs 5 lakh.
Volvo's second electric offering, the C40 Recharge made its debut in June 2023. Now, the Swedish automaker is planning to launch its coupe iteration of the XC40 Recharge in September this year. Just like XC40 Recharge, the upcoming C40 Recharge is expected to offer only a top-spec variant named Ultimate. The expected price of the model would be Rs 60 lakh (ex-showroom).
Force Motors has been working on the 5-door version of the Gurkha for a while now. The automaker is likely to launch the model by the end of this year. Expect this version to be 1 lakh more expensive than its 3-door iteration. However, the 5-door might include the same set of features as the 3-door counterpart.
There are chances that Mahindra and Mahindra could launch a larger version of the standard Bolero Neo this festive season. The newer version will be called Bolero Neo Plus which is expected to be priced from Rs 9.62 lakh (ex-showroom). It could be offered in both seven and nine-seater configurations.
