The most preferred car brand by Indians, Maruti Suzuki has marked its position at number one with the Baleno. According to the November 2022 sales report, Baleno recorded Year-on-Year growth of 111 percent by selling 20,945 units whereas the previous year, the company had sold only 9,931 units of cars in November 2021.

The Nexon from Tata Motors took the second position for the best-selling car in the Indian market in 2022. As seen in the sales report, Nexon obtained 15,871 unit sales in November 2022. Its Year-on-Year sales growth increased by 61.44 percent. Probably, the advantage of having diesel, petrol, and electric variants has helped Nexon to sustain a good volume. In addition, this model has now been considered the highest-selling compact SUV in the country and the best-selling car for Tata Motors.

Alto K10 was the best-selling car from Maruti Suzuki in the month of October 2022 however come November it slipped to the third position. The popular hatchback secured 15,663 units as per the sales report of November 2022. Compared to last year’s sales, the model recorded 13,812 units; this is clear proof that Alto K10’s Year-on-Year growth increased by 13.40 percent.

The fourth position on the best-selling cars belongs again to Maruti Suzuki. The Indian automaker was able to sell 15,153 units of the Swift in November 2022 while the model registered only 14,568 units sales last year in the same month. Comparing it to the last year’s sales figures, the company saw Year-on-Year growth of 4.02 percent.

WagonR took the fifth spot by selling 14,720 units in November 2022. However, it was not a fruitful month for the brand as it spotted a 12.66 percent Year-on-Year decline and a 17.97 percent month-over-month decline. Compared to the November 2022 sales report, Maruti registered 16,853 unit sales of cars in November 2021 which was better than this year’s sales.
