Upcoming Cars and SUVs Launching in November 2023

2023 was a big year for the global automotive industry. With the market coming out of a tough couple of years of post-pandemic decline, automakers have rebounded quite strongly this year. Automakers have already introduced mid-life facelifts or brand-new models across their lineups. Furthermore, there are still some big unveils yet to come. Today, we take a look at some of the upcoming cars and SUVs launching in November 2023.

Next-Gen Skoda Superb

Skoda Superb

Skoda recently unveiled the official sketches of the next-gen Superb, ahead of its global debut on November 2. The new Skoda Superb follows the brand’s Modern Solid design language that looks sleeker and more stylish than the previous model. Skoda has also completely overhauled the interior with all digital displays for the instrument cluster and infotainment system, as well as new multi-function rotary knobs with an integrated display.

In terms of powertrains, the new Superb will be offered with petrol, diesel, and a plug-in hybrid option. All of them will be mated to a DSG automatic gearbox.

Expect the new Skoda Superb to be launched around late 2024 in India, with prices upwards of Rs 45 lakh (ex-showroom).

Tata Punch EV

Tata Punch EV

Tata Motors has had a busy 2023 with the launches of the Nexon facelift, Harrier and Safari facelift, and the Altroz CNG. Next in line to be unveiled is the new Tata Punch EV. It will look quite similar to its ICE sibling except for a new grille, blue accents all around, and tweaked bumpers. Moving inside, reports suggest that it will get a larger 10.25-inch infotainment display.

The 2024 Punch EV will use Tata’s Ziptron powertrain, though details are yet to be fully revealed. The electric micro-SUV may be offered with two battery pack sizes and charging options, similar to the Nexon EV range.

The Tata Punch EV will likely be unveiled by the end of November. In terms of pricing, expect it to start from around Rs 45 lakh (ex-showroom).

All-New Renault Duster

Renault Duster

The Renault Duster was one of the best-selling Renaults in India, and arguably one of the pioneers of the compact SUV craze in our country. While the brand did not bring the second-gen model here, it is planning to introduce the next-gen model soon. The new Duster is slated for a global unveil on November 29.

In terms of design, the new Duster gets a boxy and more rugged exterior that looks more muscular than before. It also gets Dacia’s (Renault’s sister brand) new design language with Y-shaped LED lighting elements and accents.

Globally, the duster will be offered with three powertrain options, 2 turbo-petrol and 1 strong-hybrid. Both manual and automatic transmission options will be available.

The new Duster is expected to go on sale in international markets by mid-2024, with an India launch likely by the end of next year.

While prices are yet to be announced, the Mercedes-AMG C43 will likely be priced at around Rs 1 crore (ex-showroom).
