The Automotive Industry is in the middle of a revolution towards environmentally friendly vehicles through the innovation of greener technologies. Leading this charge is Kia Cars; a well-known South Korean automobile manufacturing company reputed for its quality, stylish and unique cars.
Kia Motors has initiated an excellent process of electrification of vehicles, evident from the timeline in which the automaker plans to transform its automobile range into EVs.

After the launch of the Kia EV6, Kia plans to bring its EV5 to the Indian market under its ‘Kia 2.0’ strategy. Its production-ready avatar was showcased last year marking its inaugural EV day. Kia will offer the electric vehicle with two battery pack options and distinct powertrains.
Other features include an integrated 12.3-inch dual display setup, vehicle-to-load (V2L) capability and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

Kia showcased the concept version of the EV9 at the Auto Expo 2023 before its international debut last year. However, Kia will be launching its flagship electric SUV in India by the second half of this year. Once launched, the EV9 will be the brand’s most premium offering in India.
The EV9 gets three powertrain options - EV9 RWD with a 76.1 kWh battery, long-range EV9 RWD with a 99.8 kWh cell pac and the high-performance EV9 AWD housing two electric motors. The latter is capable of clocking a real-world range of 450 kilometres

The Soul EV features a boxy design that it borrows from its ICE counterpart. Carrying over the substantial and bold design of its regular Soul cousin into the electric segment, the Soul EV looks the part of an electric car for the modern era.
There are two batteries on offer: a 39.2 kWh Urban battery pack and a 64 kWh Explore cell pack. On the engine front, the electric powertrain packs a lot of torque and acceleration for its size. Expect a real-world mileage ranging from 280 km to 350 km from the batteries.
The Kia Niro EV is an ideal vehicle for drivers who want a car that is versatile and friendly to the environment. It is the perfect example of how a compact size like this crossover allows for lower consumption while utilising the power of an energy-efficient electric motor. The exterior of the Kia Niro EV is stylish and agile looking; and in addition to that, this four-wheeler has excellent mileage and best-in-class range of 460 kilometres.
This model is powered by a 150 kW electric motor and a long-range 64 kWh battery, giving it very good dynamics, acceleration and speed which allows it to have a great ride in the city and on highways as well.
