Volkswagen is preparing up for with its competitive sub-4m SUV, the Tera to enter the Indian car market. The SUV comes with bold styling and much tech-rich interior is expected. The Tera SUV could be a great rival for the Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, and Mahindra XUV 3XO that dominate the segment currently. Let's go through the blog to have a deeper understanding of the design that has been revealed so far.

Through undisguised images of the test mule, the Tera SUV is seen with a chunky bumper. The front of the SUV features a modern single-slat grille, an aggressive look with sweptback LED headlamps.
For the side profile, the SUV comes with blacked-out alloy wheels and B-pillars, A-pillar-mounted ORVMs, and a dual-tone roof with opposite black roof rails. The wheel-arches are squared off with rugged plastic. Overall side profile brings back the SUV touch to the Tera.
The back of the car can be seen with wraparound LED taillights connected by a stylish light bar through the tailgate. The dynamic look is also enhanced by an integrated spoiler, rear wiper, washer, and a sporty bumper with a faux skid plate.
The automaker has yet to announce the details of the interior layout and features. However, it is expected to offer a modern tech-laden, and feature-rich interior. The new Tera SUV could be equipped with ventilated front seats, a large touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a fully digital instrument cluster, ambient lighting, and paddle shifters.
Much information is to be officially announced but it is likely that the SUV will have a strong grip over the safety aspect. It could include six airbags, electronic stability control, and rear AC vents for added comfort.
It is expected that the Tera SUV will feature a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder TSI petrol engine. The engine is likely to deliver up to 114bhp and 178Nm of torque which would be paired with either a six-speed manual gearbox or a six-speed torque converter automatic.
