Ahead of its 14 September price reveal, Tata Motors has formally unveiled the all-new 2023 Nexon Facelift to the media. Featuring an updated exterior and interior design, the new Tata Nexon Facelift is set to take the highly contested sub-compact SUV segment with a storm.
On the outside, the new Tata Nexon Facelift features an updated design that borrows elements from the Tata Curvv and the Tata Harrier EV concept showcased at the 2023 Auto Expo. The new face features a muscular bonnet along with a sleek upper grill element.
The imposing front end features a large air intake at the bottom along with split headlamp setup, the features the LED DRL element at the top while the main headlight cluster in the placed on the new muscular bumper.
Moving to the sides, the new SUV retains its Impact 2.0 design language and overall silhouette but features contrast colours to highlight the accent line.The car also rides on new set of 16-inch diamond cut dual-tone alloy-wheels. At the rear, we get to see a full width light bar, redesigned LED tail lamps, bumper and hidden rear wiper with integrated spoiler. The new LED lights also feature dynamic swipe funcion for indicatiors along with welcome and goodbye function on lock and unlock.
As teased earlier, the interior of the new Tata Nexon is a sharp departure from the current layout and features a dual 10.25-inch screens for infotainment and the drivers display. In addition, the car also features a new two-spoke steering wheel last featured on the concept cars along with touch-based controls for the HVAC, 9-speaker JBL speakers. Other feel-good features include the addition of a 360-degree camera, wireless charging pad, ventilated front seats and more. Saftey equipment on offer include 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP and more as standard.

Powertrain option on the new model include the 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine and the 1.5-litre turbo diesel motor. The former produces 120 bhp, 170 Nm and comes mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT with paddle shifters depending on the variant of choice. On the other hand, the diesel unit is offered with the same 6-speed manual and 6-speed AMT gearbox and produces a 115 bhp and 160 Nm of peak torque. The car is also offered with 3 drive modes - Eco, City and Sports.

Unlike the previous model, Tata Motors has decided to use an all-new variant nomenclature for the Tata Nexon Facelift 7 trim levels – Smart, Smart+, Pure+, Creative, Creative+, Fearless, Fearless+. Most variants in the line-up is also offered with sunroof as an optional extra. In addition, the company is also offering an all-new Purple and Teal colour on the updated model.
Tata cars has confirmed that it will be launching the new Nexon Facelift on 14 September 2023 in the country and also unveiling its price. The company will start accepting bookings for the new model from 4 September 2023. Once launched the new car will rival the Mahindra XUV300, KIA Sonet, Hyundai Venue and the Maruti Suzuki Brezza in its segment.
