Mahindra BE 6 is one of the unique electric vehicles in the market. Its modern design, latest features, and the power it uses create a new concept towards electric mobility. Mahindra BE 6 is built on the INGLO platform, a specifically designed architecture for brand's electric vehicles. Unlike an ICE vehicle adaptation, the INGLO platform is designed with the electric powertrain in mind, optimizing powertrain efficiency and battery integration. It also supports other advanced technologies like OTA updates and ADAS. This dedicated platform allows the BE 6 to deliver better performance and ensure future scalability for other electric models.

Mahindra BE 6 has three variants, which are Pack One, Pack Two, and Pack Three. The base version available at Rs. 18.90 lakh and the variant of Pack Three with a larger battery are priced at Rs. 30.50 lakh. All the variants are present with different features and varying battery capacities. So, as per the requirement, any of the variants could be selected.

The BE 6 is quite sleek and sporty from the exterior design. This car boasts of a sloping roof with prominent body shell character lines and has a boldness of the profile, accompanied by a C-shaped LED DRL at the front. There's also an illuminated 'BE' logo on the car. Additionally, there are aerodynamic designs to add more modernness. It features 18-inch alloy wheels, which can go up to as much as 19 inches.
Other notable features include flush-fitting door handles, a full-length LED light bar at the rear, and a chunky diffuser. BE 6 is also a space-savvy car for families because it measures 4,371 mm along, 1,907 mm wide, and 1,627 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,775 mm.

Inside, the Mahindra BE 6 presents a much more modern cabin focused on the driver. The dashboard wraps around the driver and offers a cockpit-like feel. The dual 12.3-inch screens manage the infotainment and instrument display. A sporty steering wheel comes with an illuminated logo.
Premium features such as a 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, dual-zone climate control, and powered, ventilated front seats with memory function feature the BE 6. Other interior highlights include multi-color ambient lighting, an illuminated panoramic glass roof, wireless smartphone integration, and a 360-degree camera system. It also boasts of a 455-litre boot and a 45-litre frunk to add more storage.
A Mahindra BE 6 has a 5-star Bharat NCAP rating, meaning this vehicle's safety is the number one priority. It features extremely strong occupant safety, for example, through attributes like six airbags, ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Control, and four-wheel disc brakes. Other safety features are provided in the form of the inclusion of the SUV's tire pressure monitoring system, driver drowsiness detection, and ISOFIX child seat anchors.
Variants also come with Level 2 ADAS, so those features are in the form of forward collision warning, lane departure warning, and a 360-degree camera. So, in other words, the BE 6 will be completely safe to experience for the person sitting inside the car.

Mahindra BE 6 comes with two types of batteries, i.e., 59kWh and 79kWh. The former runs 228 horsepower while the latter does 281 horsepower, with 380Nm of torque. This variant, running on 79kWh, can hit 0-100 km/h in 6.7 seconds. In terms of the range, it depends on how long it may run; the range, when using 79kWh, is up to 682 km, while using 59kWh gives up to 535 km. It takes approximately 6-8 hours to charge the 59kWh version with the 11.2kW AC charger, and the charger is charged too. You can acquire 7.2 kW charger with Rs. 50,000 and 11.2 kW charger with Rs. 75,000.
