Hyundai to launch 3 new SUVs in the Indian market The electric version of the Creta SUV is set to launch in Jan 2025 Next-gen Venue will be the first model to roll out from the Talegaon plant
Hyundai is gearing up to launch some exciting new SUVs in the near future. One of the highlights is the Creta EV, an electric version of their popular Creta model. The lineup also includes a facelift of the popular Alcazar and a new-generation Venue. Each of these models will bring something fresh to the table, whether it is the eco-friendly features of the Creta EV, the updated design and technology of the Alcazar, or the stylish and advanced new Venue.
Here's a sneak peek at what Hyundai has in store for us.

This festive season, we might get to see the launch of the Alcazar facelift. Expected to be launched by October 2024, the 3-row SUV is likely to get new design elements and features.
Hyundai Alcazar facelift has been spied testing multiple times, indicating its design details. Some of its exterior design features are a horizontal-slat patterned grille, a connected LED light bar, rectangular-shaped split LED headlamps, a revamped bumper, and a new swirl design for the alloy wheels.
On the inside, it is expected to feature twin 10.25-inch screens for infotainment and driver's display. Other features might include an electrically adjustable driver seat, dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera, and a Level 2 ADAS suite.
Under the hood, the upcoming Hyundai SUV is expected to house a 1.5-litre petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine, the same as the current model. Expect it to be priced between Rs 17 lakh to Rs 22 lakh (ex-showroom).

After witnessing the success of the Hyundai Creta SUV, the South Korean automaker will now launch its electric iteration. The production of the Creta EV is set to begin in December 2024, followed by its official launch in January 2025.
The e-SUV will share most of its design and features with the ICE-powered model. However, there will be few design differences such as a charging socket at the front, a closed-off grille, aero-optimized alloy wheels, and more. Inside, it is likely to get a 10.25-inch dual display setup, a panoramic sunroof, a wireless charger, rear AC vents, and more.
Although Creta EV battery details are yet to be revealed, it is expected to get the same motor as the global-spec Kona EV. Price-wise, it could go around at Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom).

The South Korean automaker will be introducing a new-generation model of the Venue. The SUV made its debut in India in 2019 and then received a mid-cycle facelift in 2022.
The second-generation Hyundai Venue is likely to be introduced in India in 2025 or 2026. It will be the first model to roll out from the newly-acquired Talegaon plant where the automaker plans to make around 1.50 lakh units per year. Moreover, this will be the second manufacturing facility by Hyundai that will start in India by 2025.
