Hyundai is readying the facelifted Alcazar SUV that is scheduled to be launched during this festive season. Expected to launch between September and October 2024, the updated 3-row SUV will feature a new design and features. Some features from the Creta facelift are expected to be borrowed. Upon launch, the Alcazar facelift is set to challenge the Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus, and Mahindra XUV700.
The Alcazar facelift was spotted testing several times, hinting at its new design details. Its production-ready model could feature the all-new front profile. Some of its exterior highlights might include a connected LED light bar, horizontal-slat patterned grille, rectangular-shaped split LED headlamps, and the reworked bumper with an ADAS Radar sensor. The alloy wheels are also likely to get a new swirl design.
In terms of features, the 3-door SUV is expected to get twin 10.25-inch displays for infotainment and driver's display. Other equipment lists include a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, an electrically adjustable driver seat, an electronic parking brake with auto hold function, a Level 2 ADAS kit, and a 360-degree surround camera. The Level 2 ADAS features include adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, lane keep assist, collision avoidance system, automatic high-beam and others.
Hyundai Alcazar facelift will take power from the same 1.5-litre petrol (157 bhp and 253 Nm) and 1.5-litre diesel (113 bhp and 250 Nm) engine options. Both engines will be mated with manual and automatic transmissions.
