Honda is now offering the CNG kit for its Amaze sedan to attract more customers. This move has been made by the company as the competitors of the Amaze come equipped with factory-fitted CNG options. However, the CNG variant of the Amaze is available only at select dealerships. It is also important to note that the CNG kit installed in the sedan is from Lovato, a quite popular brand in the market.
The CNG kit is available in the manual variants of the Amaze sedan. Customers will have to pay an additional cost which could range from Rs 75,000 to Rs 85,000. Apart from this, dealerships are now providing a one-year warranty on the CNG installation.
Under the hood, the sedan has a 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol unit that can produce 89 bhp and 110 Nm of torque. As for the transmission, the petrol engine is mated with a 5-speed manual and a CVT gearbox.
Honda Amaze is offered in four variants - E, S, VX, and VX Elite Edition. The price of the sedan starts from Rs 7.28 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base model while for the top-spec, it is priced at Rs 10.04 lakh (ex-showroom).
