Tata Motors has upgraded its Altroz hatchback. The 2024 Altroz now gets four new variants, more features, and rejigged powertrain options. Most features have been borrowed from the upcoming premium hatchback, Tata Altroz Racer scheduled for launch on June 7, 2024.
The updated Altroz Hatchback is now available in 11 variants - XE, XM, XM S, XM+, XM+ S, XT, XZ, XZ Lux, XZ+ S, XZ+ S Lux, and XZ+ OS. The latter four variants are newly added to the existing lineup.
In terms of features, the 2024 Tata Altroz is offered with a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 7-inch digital instrument cluster with new UI, wireless Android Auto and Apple Carplay, blind spot monitor, an air purifier, 360-degree camera, and six airbags.
The automaker has removed the turbo-petrol motor from the regular Altroz. Now, the Hatchback is powered by a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol, 1.2-litre naturally aspirated with iCNG and the 1.5-litre turbocharged Diesel Engine choices. These powertrains are coupled with a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed DCT gearbox.
