Tata Aeris base model is priced at Rs 5.29 lakh Base SMART gets 14-inch steel wheels, Accomplished gets 15-inch alloys
Tata Motors has disrupted the sub-4 metre sedan segment by introducing the new Tata Aeris as a replacement for the Tigor. The subcompact sedan comes at an aggressive introductory starting price of Rs 5.29 lakh, ex-showroom. Available in 5 trim levels - Smart, Pure, Pure Plus, Creative, and Accomplished - the Aeris directly targets customers looking for a tech-loaded sedan at an aggressive price tag.
Here is a comprehensive breakdown comparing the Smart base model and the fully-loaded Accomplished top model prices, features, styling, and overall value proposition.

The price gap between the entry-level petrol manual and the top-spec Accomplished manual is Rs 2.90 lakh. This price gap gives buyers a broad playing field depending on their budget constraints.
Externally, the Aeris SMART variant gets basic design elements and functions, while the Accomplished gets premium and distinct aesthetics upgrades.
Wheels & Tyres: the base Smart variant gets 14-inch exposed steel rims without hubcaps. The top-spec Accomplished comes with 15-inch dual-tone diamond-cut alloy wheels.
Lighting: the base trim features standard halogen headlamps. On the flip side, the top trim adds automatic LED projector headlights, sequential daytime running lights, LED connected tail-lights, and LED fog lamps.
Dual-tone Finish: the Aeris Accomplished comes with a dual-tone black roof finish with chrome waistline accents. These two things are absent on the monotone base model.
Infotainment: the entry-level SMART variant misses out on a factory-fitted music system. There is a blank DIN slot for an aftermarket fitment. The top-spec Aeris Accomplished gets a 10.25-inch Ultra View HD touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, and a premium audio setup.
Seating Comfort: The Aeris SMART base variant gets fabric upholstery for seats with manual adjustments. The top-spec Accomplished variant gets Aerolux ventilated front seats, leatherette upholstery, a driver armrest and a rear centre armrest with cup holders.
Comfort and Convenience Features: the top-spec Accomplished comes with segment-first tech including a built-in Dashcam DVR, a 360-degree surround view camera with a Blind View Monitor, push-button start/stop, dual wireless smartphone charging and cruise control.
The Tata Aeris sedan comes equipped with features like 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, and cornering control, rear parking sensors, speed sensing auto door locks and others standard. The top-spec Accomplished gets additional Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) and 360-degree surround view camera and dashcam DVR.
Tata Aeris Smart (Rs 5.29 lakh): If you need a safe family sedan with a large boot, and ready to compromise on infotainment at a strict budget, the base Smart is the perfect variant for you.
Tata Aeris Accomplished (Rs 8.19 lakh - 9.74 lakh): If you want a subcompact sedan with high-end comfort and convenience features and two-pedal CNG AMT convenience, the Aeris Accomplished is a good option.
