Tata Aeris gets a dashboard design similar to the Tiago New sedan gets a 10.24-inch touchscreen and digital instrument cluster Petrol and CNG engine options are expected
Tata Motors has released another teaser of the upcoming Aeris compact sedan, revealing its dashboard and several cabin features ahead of its September 25 launch. The cabin layout looks closely related to the recently launched Tiago. It gets a similar fabric-inspired dashboard finish and Tata's new two-spoke steering wheel. However, the Aeris appears to use a lighter beige and grey colour theme instead of the more vibrant cabin theme seen in the Tiago. At the centre of the dashboard is a large 10.24-inch touchscreen infotainment system. It is paired with a fully digital instrument cluster, giving the sedan a more modern cabin setup.
New Features Revealed
The latest teaser also shows several features that will be offered with the Aeris. These include a wireless charging tray, cruise control, automatic climate control and a 360-degree camera. The centre console gets cup holders and an armrest with additional storage. Other expected features include a start-stop button, electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs, rear AC vents, Type-C USB ports and fabric seat upholstery. The automatic variants are also expected to get a rotary drive selector instead of a traditional gear lever.

Tata Aeris Design Details
Tata has already revealed parts of the Aeris exterior through earlier teasers. The sedan gets front and rear lighting elements that are largely similar to the Tiago, although the rear gets additional segmented lighting details. The Aeris will also get newly designed blacked-out alloy wheels. The sedan is expected to have a cleaner lower bumper design and could avoid the chunky black cladding seen on the Tiago.
Expected Engine Options
The Tata Aeris is expected to use the same 1.2-litre petrol engine as the Tiago. This engine produces 84bhp and 113Nm and is likely to be offered with a five-speed manual and AMT gearbox. A CNG version is also expected. The CNG powertrain could produce 72bhp and 96.5Nm, with the same manual and AMT transmission options.
Tata Aeris Launch Date
The Tata Aeris is set to launch on September 25. The sedan is expected to be positioned above the Tiago in terms of pricing, while its variant range could extend to around five variants. More details about the Aeris, including its prices, variants and complete feature list, are expected to be announced at the launch.
