The upcoming Syros compact SUV will feature unique exterior design elements. Its boxy styling with flat bottom and straight surfaces will make it appealing. Some of its design inspiration comes from Kia's flagship Telluride SUV and the Soul, which are on sale globally.
Previous sightings have also revealed that the new Syros will sport an upright front fascia with a vertical LED lighting setup. Other exterior highlights include a clamshell bonnet, L-shaped LED tail lamps, roof rails, and 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.
Kia Syros will come loaded with a range of tech features including a dual 10.2-inch screen setup for infotainment and instrument console. The compact SUV will also provide ventilated front seats, automatic climate control, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and sunroof.
On the safety front, the compact SUV will offer six airbags as standard and a 360-degree camera. A radar-based ADAS suite will also be on offer.
The new compact SUV, Kia Syros is expected to get a 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine. However, this unit will be offered for the lower trims, the higher trims are likely to get a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine. While the NA petrol can produce 82 bhp with 114 Nm, the turbo petrol mill can deliver 118 bhp with 172 Nm. A CNG option might also be available. Transmission jobs will be handled by a 5-speed manual or automated manual gearbox.
