Hyundai India has finally launched its flagship SUV, the New-Gen Tucson in India at a starting price of Rs 27.70 lakh (ex-showroom). A larger vehicle in all sense, the new model offers more space, design and equipment. Designed around the brand’ ‘Sensuous Sportiness’ philosophy, the SUV gets new parametric design detail with a new front grill and signature lighting elements.
New-Gen Hyundai Tucson: Variant Wise Pricing
Hyundai India is offering the Tucson in two variants Platinum and Signature. The price for pertrol base model (Platinum) starts at Rs 27.70 lakh (ex-showroom) while the Signature is available at Rs 30.17 (ex-showroom). The price for the diesel models range from Rs 30.20 lakh (ex-showroom) to Rs 32.87 lakh (ex-showroom). The AWD model comes in at Rs 34.39 lakh (ex-showroom).
New-Gen Hyundai Tucson: Colour Options
The Tucson is available with 5 monotone and 2 dual tone exterior colour options. The Monotone options are the standard Polar White, Phantom Black, Fiery Red, Starry Night along with a new Amazon Grey colour. Polar White and Fiery Red colours are available with Phantom Black roof in dual tone option.

New-Gen Hyundai Tucson: Powertrain Options
The Hyundai Tucson is available with two engine options, one petrol and one diesel. The petrol unit is a 2.0-litre turbo that produces max power output of 154bhp and peak torque of 192 Nm. The diesel also is a 2.0-liter unit with a class leading output of 183bhp. Both engines are available only with an automatic option, 6-speed torque convertor (petrol) and 8-speed torque convertor (diesel).
Hyundai is also providing the Tucson with HTRAC AWD system on select trims.
New-Gen Hyundai Tucson: Changes
On the inside, the New-Gen Tucson is a brand-new car. Having grown by 150mm, the SUV offers more room on the inside which is further enhanced by the Inter-space theme. Also new to the four-wheeler is equipment like a floating digital driver display, ADAS, passenger walk-in function, heated/Ventilated seats and more.
