After showcasing its future plans in April, Volkswagen India has launched the new Taigun and Virtus Edge Limited edition models. In addition to the limited edition models, both the Virtus and Taigun get new GT Plus manual variants while the SUV also gains a new GT DSG variant. Prices for the Taigun GT DSG and the GT Plus Manual stand at Rs 16.79 lakh and Rs 17.79 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively.
The Virtus GT Edge is now available with a 6-speed manual and 7-speed DSG option at an introductory price of Rs 17.10 lakh and Rs 18.77 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively. On the other hand, the Taigun GT Edge is available in a total of 4 variants with two colour choices.
Updates to the Edge edition models include a new Deep Black Perk body colour and a Carbon Steel Matte finish exterior colour.
According to the automaker, the GT Edge Limited Collection will be manufactured based on customer bookings. Deliveries for the new models will start from July 2023 onward.
