German luxury car maker, Mercedes-Benz aims to further strengthen its footprint in the Indian electric car market during 2023. The automaker’s EQ line will see expansion from current 2 models to 5 models before the end of 2023. New models on the horizon for the Indian market include EQB, EQS and EQE SUV models. These all-new electric SUVs will be launching towards the end of 2022 and during 2023, helping the company realize its dream of a sustainable future. This story will discuss the top three upcoming electric cars from Mercedes-Benz.

In the international market, the EQB is offered in two variants with varied power outputs; the EQB 300 makes 228 bhp, while the more powerful EQB 350 can produce around 292 bhp. Both variants offer a 66.5 kWh battery pack with a claimed range of up to 419 kilometers (WLTP). The estimated price tag of the new model will be around Rs 80 lakh (ex-showroom) which will be significantly cheaper than EQC (Rs 99.5 lakh). However, it might cost a little more than Volvo XC40 Recharge (Rs 55.90 lakh).
