Audi launches next-gen Q3 in India; Priced from Rs 44.89 lakh to Rs 50.39 lakh (ex-showroom); Available in two variants, Premium Plus and Technology.
After a long gap, Audi India has finally launched the second generation of its entry level luxury SUV, the Q3 in the country. Now in its new BS6 avatar, the four-wheeler’s price starts from Rs 44.89 lakhs (ex-showroom). Bookings for the German SUV is already underway and the company has committed special benefits for the first 500 customers.
Unlike the old model, the new Q3 will be offered in only two variants, Premium Plus and Technology. The former is the base variant in the line-up and is priced at Rs 44.89 lakh (ex-showroom) while the Technology trim will set you back by Rs 50.39 lakh (ex-showroom).

Audi is offering the new model in five exterior colour choices Chronos Grey, Mythos Black, Navarra Blue, Glacier White and Pulse Orange.
The newest model in the Audi India’s portfolio get an all-new design inspired by the flagship Q8 SUV. The front end is characterised by with a new single-frame octagonal grille and sleeker LED headlamps. Other changes include larger air intakes, new set of LED tail lights and an 18-inch alloy wheel which complement the sporty stance of the SUV.
The cabin of the new Q3 is loaded with a host of latest tech features such as Audi Virtual Cockpit, MMI Navigation Plus with MMI Touch, Audi Drive Select, 30 colour ambient lighting, 10 speakers - Audi Sound System, electrically opening and closing boot, comfort key with gesture-controlled tailgate and a wireless charging system amongst other bits.
Based on the Volkswagen Group’s MQB platform, the new Q3 is driven by the familiar 2.0-litre TFSI petrol engine pushing 190bhp and 320 Nm of torque. The car comes equipped with Quattro all-wheel drive system as standard and sprints from 0-100 kmph in just 7.3 seconds.
In India, the new Q3 will take on the likes of Mercedes Benz GLA, Volvo XC40 and BMW X1 in its segment.
Seeing the growing demand for hybrid cars, popular mass-market car manufacturers like Kia, Hyundai, Mahindra and Renault are planning to launch hybrid SUVs in India.
