One of the well-known vehicles, the Jeep Compass is now going to enter a new generation. According to a recent media report, the next-gen Compass is expected to arrive in the market by 2027.

Next-Gen Jeep Compass: What to Expect?

It is said that in terms of design changes, the updated Compass is likely to retain the overall silhouette from its current version. However, there will be some design modifications to enhance the overall visual appeal. A range of new features are also expected to be on offer. Jeep could make its new-gen Compass more capable than ever before.

Platform and Powertrain

The updated Compass is likely to be built on the STLA Medium architecture. With the new base, the vehicle would be larger, however the exact dimensions are still under wraps.

It is also said that the base structure could carry 400-volt electrical architecture and can support electric motors with a power output of between 220-390 hp. A battery of up to 98 kWh could be on offer, delivering a range of 500-700 km. The charging capacity could hover between 20-80% in 27 minutes.
