New Scorpio-N Pickup global debut on August 14, 2026 It will rival the Hilux and D-Max
The production version of the Mahindra Global Pik Up will finally make its global debut tomorrow in India. First unveiled in 2023, the Mahindra Global Pik Up Concept previewed the brand’s upcoming Scorpio-N based pickup truck. It will be the brand’s global product and will be sold as a lifestyle pickup in select international markets. The Mahindra Scorpio-N Pickup will be positioned against the likes of the Toyota Hilux and the Isuzu D-Max.

The teaser reveal that the Pick-up will have a broader front and wider track compared to the SUV sibling. It gets L-shaped LED DRLs, and slim LED headlamps. It comes with a vertically stacked LED fog lamps on either side of the bumper. The teaser also confirms that the SUV will get 360-degree or even the 540-degree setup, with front camera placed just under the Twin Peaks logo on the hexagonal-shaped large grille.
The lifestyle pickup will have a double-cab layout and an elongated cargo bed along with flared wheel arches, prominent roof rails and large alloy wheels. At the back, a large ‘MAHINDRA’ badge is embossed on the tailgate, and C-shaped LED tail-lamps.

Inside the cabin, the Scorpio-N Pickup trick gets a large, portrait-style central touchscreen infotainment unit and a three-spoke steering wheel. It will have a digital instrument console, rotary knobs for dual-zone climate control and a round-shaped drive mode selector. The pickup truck will get both physical and digital controls to operate multiple functions.
The Global Pik Up will come with LEVEL 2 ADAS suite with features like adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, lane assist and others. It will also come with semi-automatic parking, 5G-based connectivity feature and a sunroof.
While the technical details are yet to be revealed, we expect the new Global Pik Up to share its powertrain options with the Scorpio N SUV. The engine options could include the 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engine. Transmission choices could include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic. It is likely to retain a four-wheel-drive system, which we have already seen on the Scorpio-N SUV.
