Kia India announced a 100-unit Carens Clavis EV fleet for Refex Mobility Over 1100 units have deployed in corporate fleets since its launch in July 2025
Kia India has announced that its Carens Clavis EV has crossed 1100+ units deployed in corporate fleets since its launch in July 2025, underlining the model’s growing role in India’s shift towards cleaner, more efficient business transportation. Kia India has also announced a 100-unit Carens Clavis EV fleet deployment for Refex Mobility, with the first lot handed over at a ceremony held in the presence of Kia India leadership.
The collaboration with Refex Mobility brings together Kia India's electric mobility capabilities with Refex's fleet expertise, enabling organizations to integrate EVs into their everyday mobility requirements.
Commenting on the milestone, Mr. Atul Sood, Senior Vice-President, Sales & Marketing, Kia India, said, "Demonstrating how electric mobility can seamlessly integrate into everyday corporate transportation, our deployment with Refex Mobility is a meaningful step towards accelerating this change. The Carens Clavis EV is a capable and practical fit for fleet operations, offering a spacious cabin, comfortable seating for extended daily use, a range well suited to intensive fleet requirements, and an advanced Battery Management System that supports efficiency and safety for fleet customers. Recognising this capability, we have expanded the Carens Clavis EV's reach from individual customers to fleet operations, and corporate fleets have an important role to play in this transition. At Kia India, we remain committed to expanding access to innovative electric mobility solutions and working with partners who share our vision of creating cleaner, smarter and more responsible mobility for India."
The new Kia Carens Clavis EV is available with two battery choices - 42 kWh (Standard Range) and 51.4 kWh (Extended Range) - both gets a front-axle-mounted electric motor. While the former offers a range of 404 km, the Extended Range version returns an ARAI certified range of 490 km on a single charge. The 42kWh Standard Range offers 135 PS and 255 Nm of torque. On the other hand, the 51.4 kWh Extended Range model produces 171 PS and 255 Nm.
