Kia Carens Clavis EV could soon get new variants in India. The electric MPV is expected to expand its lineup with the addition of GT Line and X-Line trims. These new versions are likely to bring fresh styling elements, new features and more choices for buyers looking for a premium electric family car.
Along with the new trims, the Carens Clavis EV range could also get a six-seater seating option, offering more flexibility for customers.

The upcoming GT Line versions of the Carens Clavis EV are expected to focus on sportier styling and a more premium appearance. These trims may be offered in GTX and GTX Plus variants.
Both variants are likely to be paired with the 51.4 kWh extended-range battery pack, which is expected to offer a longer driving range. The GTX variant could be priced at around Rs 22.99 lakh, while the GTX Plus version may cost close to Rs 24.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
Like other GT Line models from Kia, these versions may feature sporty exterior elements, unique trim highlights and distinctive design touches to stand apart from the standard variants.
Kia may also introduce an X-Line variant in the Carens Clavis EV lineup. This version is expected to be positioned as the top model in the range.
X-Line versions in Kia’s lineup usually come with exclusive styling details, unique colour options and special design accents, and similar updates could be seen on the Carens Clavis EV as well.
The X-Line variant is expected to be priced close to Rs 24.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
Another key update expected for the Carens Clavis EV is the introduction of a six-seater seating layout.
This version could feature captain seats in the second row, which can improve comfort for passengers, especially on long journeys. Buyers may also continue to get the option of the seven-seater layout, depending on their preference.
The Carens Clavis EV is likely to continue with two battery pack options.
The entry-level variants may use the 42 kWh battery pack, while higher variants are expected to get the larger 51.4 kWh battery pack, which should offer a longer driving range.
The six-seater option may be available with both battery packs, giving customers more flexibility when choosing a variant.
The six-seater HTX E standard-range variant could start at around Rs 19.99 lakh. Meanwhile, the extended-range HTX E variant may be priced at approximately Rs 21.99 lakh.
Depending on optional accessories, charging equipment and warranty packages, the on-road price could go close to Rs 27 lakh in some cities.
